          Our Need for You:

The Fifth Meeting House will celebrate its 200th year anniversary in less than 7 years. The building has suffered decades of decline, requiring a multi-million dollar rescue effort. But we don’t just need money – we need passion, we need interest, we need talents – we need you! Get involved in restoring this treasured icon and insuring its longevity for centuries to come.  Join the Bulfinch Fund – help preserve a unique architectural and cultural treasure for everyone to learn from and enjoy.

Lancaster’s storied Fifth Meeting House has been in use since 1816. Visitors to the First Church come to appreciate how Bulfinch shaped our landscape and why he remains a national leader in architecture, studied by scholars and students around the world.

Our organization of neighbors, friends and businesses is working to restore this landmark building and ensure that this local icon will continue to be a vibrant gathering place for community, educational and cultural activities for generations to come.
